I do nightly image backups of my servers and i want to be able to mount a backup as a drive if i need to restore data, i have been reading and found gizmo, so i unzipped a full image backup and tried to mount it using that but it isnt recognized as a virtual drive, even after uncompressing the image
The wall mounted power fail alarms continuously monitor AC power outlets and if there is a power interruption, the LED flashes and a 103dB buzzer sounds. The buzzer can be silenced with the front button.
The Stainless steel rim-mounting bracket allows easy mounting of our stainless steel tank alarms and level probes. The bracket mounts over the lip of a tank and tightens into place with the two thumbscrews on the flat of the angle. Then tank alarm slips into the hole and is tightened to the correct depth with a third thumbscrew. (perpendicular to the tank alarm shaft) Maximum tank lip width (or throat depth) is 25 mm [1 inch].
Edit 2: Troubleshot it with the devs. I was able to get it to summon from the mount wheel, but not in Gizmo's lab. If you head north from Gizmo, then left at the powerplant on the map, you can enter the deadzone from the north. South of that entrance is a town and a broken road on the map, which has a Mekton Dockstation. Jump off from there and run out into the deadzone, further than you might think to go, and try to summon the mech. It worked for me!
After retrieving the mech parts from the Hypoxia zone, and returning to Gizmo, he had a short cutscene where he worked on the mech. Afterwards he told me to find Moog further out in the Deadzone. The mech has vanished, though it is in my summonable mounts. However, when attempting to summon it anywhere, it says " can't spawn selected transport here!"

You don't have to "find cover" in order to switch between mounts. Unmount and watch the mount skill in your skill bar. You will notice that for a split second between lightnings the dropdown arrow becomes available; you can click it, select a different mount, then spam the mount skill to mount again.
I think there will be one. I've seen items and other things in those lightning areas that I don't think people would head for unless they have a death sentence (or spam the mount button like hell like I sometimes do when I switch between Skimmer/Springer to get to certain areas).
As I set up on turf, I have had concerns about a tripod shifting after it is loaded with a mount and heavy scope. With a GEM, this is significant at the mount is not isostatic. With the CPC because the load shifts as the mount and then scope are loaded onto the tripod. So I came up with a simple little gizmo that allows me to determine if the tripod has shifted.
Once the tripod itself has been levelled, this gizmo is attached to one of the tripod's legs and the bullseye on the gizmo is levelled out. The tripod is then loaded. If any shift does happen, the bullseye on the gizmo shows the way the tripod has moved and can then be reset.
When using this gizmo, I find the goto to work very well. No further adjustments of any part of the mount being necessary. To date, if I take care with the tripod levelling and zeroing the gizmo, all the objects fall if not dead centre then within the field of view of an EP with a 0.4deg true field of view. To verify this I've had the scope point to objects from one side of the sky to the other.
I was thinking that with some basic split rings that you could mount dovetail bars on the top and bottom and rotate the ota. But that is obviously restrictive to the two rails being 180 degrees apart.
I have a CPC925 mounted on a wedge and pier. Love it, but would like the option of easily putting other OTA's on the mount. Wondering if anybody has used the single arm with a 925 on a wedge? How did it go?
I have a CPC 1100 and have been considering doing this modification to my mount. I wanted to ask if any of you have encountered any problems with the modification. Specifically.. any regrets? Have you discovered anything that has caused problems (instability, tracking, ease of use, etc..) and have you had to make any other adjustments to your mount since you completed your modifications? How much of a challenge is it to install the OTA onto the mount?
One thing that could be done differently is the mounting of that second dovetail rail on the underside of the OTA. The method shown uses an uneven large "hose clamp" gizmo, which looks like it wants to distort the optical tube into a slight egg cross-section when weighted.
I did invest in a large channel lock wrench for handling the axis locknuts. I think this was a good investment because the firm grip and long handle enabled me to get a precise feel for the amount of pre-load I was putting on the bearings.
Hey all, just catching up from the past few months, ajkrishock asked above about any problems or regrets.
As chrisastro8 mentioned above, the one-armed bandit is quite off balance when stored on its bottom. I keep it from tipping over by putting it with the arm against a wall.
One thing to consider is that this lack of balance makes the mount unsuitable for use in equatorial mode with a wedge, in my experience.
I bought a wedge and gave it a try but it was frightening how badly out of balance it was. In my opinion, if you want to use equatorial mode, you need to use both arms and employ a bottom saddle type solution or what BeYoung did above (great solution!).
Or perhaps you could figure out some way to install a counterweight where the arm was removed?
However, as far as the functioning of the one-armed bandit in alt-az mode, it is great! I find critical focusing at high magnifications stable and free of shakiness.
I did encounter a few minor issues during the modification, which I believe I previously documented in this thread. I'm not sure how you go about finding them?
They were all basic machinery type issues such as a clutch plate frozen onto a shaft which required lubricant and heat to remove, installation of a shim washer to raise the worm wheel for better alignment with the worm, and a couple shim washers to get best possible perpendicularity of alt arm with the azi saucer base.
I thought I was being clever and used a medium weight grease on the replacement steel ball bearings underneath the saucer. I regret that and wish I had gone with either a lighter grease or oil. The axis moves well but is quite viscous. I miss that friction-free spin feeling.

Paul, I have a question. As a cpc mount owner I really like the it. Once I learned how to PA I found it somewhat easier than my eq6r pro, but tracking was plagued by balancing issues and so I just deforked my 925 edgehd and put it on the eq6r.
I'm now selling it, but I'm having a little bit of doubt. I have a SW 80ed that has now been displaced from the SW mount. If I went with the one arm bandit route with my wedge, do you think that the balance would be in that ridiculous out of balance area that you wrote about?
I know that this is a thread for dual forks into a single fork mount, however I decided to stay with the Dual forks and use what I call the RC (Ray Cash) mount idea. I'm waiting on some more parts, namely the Dual saddle. While this setup accommodates the edgehd 925, I think it will be home to the lx200 8 that I have laying around or even the SW 80ed pro. Not entirely sure if I'm going to put this on the wedge or not yet.
