The controller is not plugged in both ways; tonight I was able to again change the IP address and LIghtburn automatically recognized and installed the laser. The USB does not seem to connect to the laser, same result. Is there a tech number that I can call for a few minutes of walking me thru this? Thank you.

If on the other hand, you want to connect using a network, you will need to follow the instructions provided in a previous post above. In this case, you will plug a network cable, looks similar to an old phone connector, into the network connection on the laser, then into your network, via an access point, router or hub, depending on your desired configuration.

Ultimately, companies are like trains - we get on and get off. Sometimes we meet; other times we barely connect. Sometimes we stay on the same train long and other times the journey is extremely short. Keep your chin-up and get better at your craft, this is the best thing you can do for yourself! Here is a fantastic examples from Brian Acton

The USB Type A port allows you to connect a wide range of external devices to Rugged BOSS SSD. Connect the device to the Type A port on Rugged BOSS SSD using a USB cable recommended by the device manufacturer (not included).

Photographic equipment with USB ports can connect directly to Rugged BOSS SSD. Make certain to use a cable that supports the port on your device as it can differ by model. If you receive a USB error on the LCD, see the note above regarding powered devices.

If you connect your mobile device to the Type A port and select an Easy copy, you may receive an error message on the LCD to check the USB connection. Both Android and iOS require permission to allow connected devices to access files. Many Android and all iOS devices have simple pop-up dialogs to give consent. If you do not see the pop-up on your Android device, navigate to the settings for USB connections to accept sharing files. The default for some Android devices is to allow a connected device with a battery to charge from your mobile device, which is not recommended.

Some Android and iOS mobile devices include support for external storage devices via direct connection, similar to computers. While you can browse files on BOSS Rugged SSD using the mobile operating system, such connections are not supported by the LaCie BOSS app. Please use the tethered cable for connections to LaCie BOSS.

I have bought the Mixer so i could plug in few mics to it and send it to my Loop device Boss RC 505. I am completely new to this and i do know how i sould connect two of this device together. Could you help me with it. What cables i should use? What are the options? Thanks a lot. Shamack

I think the OP is right in not wanting to connect with this guy on linkedin. He sounds like the time that would not only ask her but the other coworkers that she might be connected to for recommendations. I would try to stay away from this.

Secondly, as a general precaution, choose the option of hiding your connections, so that he will not know who else is in your network (just in case he asks this to one of your own existing contacts). Your own contacts will not know about the rest of your connections either.

This is my first time recording, like ever, and I have no clue how to plug everything in for the connections. Do I need to connect to the USB slot or the phones/rec slot to connect to my laptop? And do I use the aux side of the cord for the laptop itself or to the amp?

sorry, there is no chance to do this with an ios device because the rc 505 needs a driver, it is not class compliant.
you will need an audio interface where you can connect the outputs of the rc 505 to the inputs of the interface.
then you can use the inputs of the rc 505 via the interface for looping in loopy pro. but please avoid connecting the outputs of the interface to the inputs of the rc 505 with having made the connections i mentioned above, because this will end in a feedback-loop.

How can I connect my Boss RC-30 Loop Station to the Spider V 240HC ? On my FENDER MUSTANG III Amp it is simple, but on my SPIDER V I cannot find a functionnal connecting. I tried with the Aux IN and a RFX out but the sound is very very noisy.

Thank you for your help. Nevertheless with the SPIDER V 240HC the guitar is directly connected to it via GT10. And even if I connect the guitar via a cable to the looper and after to the amp main input, the clean sound for i.e. of my looper (back tracks mp3) is completely destroyed by the differents presets you can used with this amp.

I have a spider v 120 and wanted to hook my rc-300 to it. Of course connected through instrument jack isn't going to work as all the tracks will replay with whatever the amp is set to and routing the direct outs to RC300 and then back I to aux of amp sucks because the next recorded loop will take whatever the signal is which then includes the previous loops. Sigh.

You need to use a secondary interface and go analog from GP-10 into that. As far as MIDI I/O is concerned, you can get a box called a MIDX-20 from a guy in Sweden who custom builds them (Primova). It connects to the USB out of the GP-10 and than has DIN outputs so you can connect it to your 2nd interface if it has MIDI in/out or use a DINUSB adaptor cable (I use a UM-One mk.2). This works and it's fine but it was really really really dumb for Roland not to make it class compliant (same for the SY-1000).

Go ahead and accept your co-workers' LinkedIn invitations. Your LinkedIn activity is not going to be private whether you accept your colleagues' connection invitations or not. You can set up your account so that your connections don't get a notification when you update your profile, but then again almost anybody can still view your LinkedIn profile if they want to.

It would be awkward to tell your boss and co-workers "I don't like to connect with the people I work with" considering that LinkedIn is a professional branding, networking and information-sharing tool and almost all of us have many past co-workers among our contacts.

It's a different story when we're talking about Facebook friend requests. Many people tell their colleagues "Let's connect on LinkedIn, rather than on Facebook. I use Facebook to keep in touch with family members so I post a lot of family stuff." They will understand.

A rugged thread form and advanced connection geometry results in deep stabbing and quick make-up without cross threading. High performance-cost effective. A negative load-flank thread and advanced connection geometry results in smooth trouble-free running.

Using Follow Up Boss with Open To Close helps you save time by preventing duplicate work in each system. The connection between the two software will allow you to sync and update your deals, sync field data to your contacts, manage your tasks, and use the Follow Up Boss widget.

The API Keys are created within Follow Up Boss and added to Open To Close to connect the two software. We recommend having two windows or tabs open on your browser, one with Open To Close and the other with Follow Up Boss.

For a team member to see the Follow Up Boss API connection option, they will need to have the permission set for this. Skip ahead to this section to learn how to do this if you are an admin on the Open To Close account.

If an Open To Close user doesn't have access to connect the Follow Up Boss API, you may need to update a permission on their profile. This can be done by going to your Settings (gear icon), selecting Organization & Users, and clicking on Permissions next to the team member you want to add the permission to.
