Brother Scanner problem

Thank you for your very useful help for Linux Mint newbies like myself. I used your instructions for my Brother DCP-1610W and everything works fine. However, the scanner has not installed properly and when I  use the XED admin "xed admin:///lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane1.rules" I receive the following message "could not find the file". In my usr/lib all I can find is 'libbrscandec*.so*'@.

Have I done something wrong? Can you suggest a fix?
