I tried to reduce my signal to see how low power can my laptop go with my 11db antenna I installed on my WiFi router, then figure to increase the power to 125% of the lowest I can get and maintain a good connection.

I was surprised by the info that came back to me, and the document provides no-where else to go with this, so here I am in this group.

My HD went died, so I installed new drive and upgraded to Mint 18.3, then looked at the fine tuning my re-newed system.
