While the gate at HL is the biggest and most stable portal to ever open to the Beyond, in the past there have been innumerable times where the two worlds intersected, allowing beings and artifacts from the alterworld to cross to this side and vice versa. These connections were the source of many myths and inexplicable events in the human world.[1]

We had rights issues with the soundtrack that we used for the Itch and Patreon builds, necessitating entirely new music. But other than that, and the achievements and translations we've implemented, there aren't a lot of differences. Most are going to be superficial.

Apologies, we'd updated the game (minor bugfix) and neglected to update the download links. We've fixed that, and apologize for the inconvenience. But we do appreciate you commenting and letting us know! Drop us a line at alterwor...@gmail.com with the address you have linked to your Itch.io account and we'll hook you up with some wallpapers of your favorite girls.

We apologize, but so far we have no answer on this. No one else has experienced the same problem as far as we can tell, and it's been crickets in response to us asking our community at large. If we get a response on this we'll post it here, but for now the only thing we can recommend is to play it on another platform if that's possible for you.

We are working on this right now, trying to figure out what might be causing it. So far neither I nor Slockie have an answer, so we've turned to our beta testers and our players on Discord to see if any of them might have an idea. We'll respond and soon as we have something. In the meantime, if it begins to work or you figure out what was the issue please let us know.

Yeah, that was missed in beta but we'll be correcting it in the next build. Thanks, though, for letting us know. If you find any other mistakes the best place to let us know is Discord. I'm fairly sure our players have found most of them at this point, though lol

There are solo paths for all of the girls, and there are multiple paths that include two ore more love interests, up to four (two of the six love interests are solo only). In total there are 11 endings, which are very nearly ready for release.

The last still renders of Chapter 5 are almost complete. We'll have a test build going to beta testers shortly after, and while that's happening the final animations will be rendering. We'll post release dates as soon as we send the build to our beta testers.

Apologies for the confusion. We wanted to make the price change slightly more incremental than just jumping straight to $12.99 (which will be the final price once the game is complete). But we appreciate the excitement! We're nearly done with the 9th ending of 11, so keep an eye open for announcements regarding our chapter 5 release.

We're focused on completing Bare Witness first, so it'll be a bit until work begins on Heaven's Door in earnest. For now we've just been releasing preview images of the love interests you'll encounter in HD.

Some of our side girls and other cast in BW will be making appearances as main love interests in our upcoming game, Heaven's Door. You can see which if you join our Patreon (even at the $1 level) or join our Discord server (which is free!) A hint: at least one of the girls you specifically mentioned will be in HD, though we've not yet announced her.

Odd. I'll have Slockie update links for both downloads as soon as he can. I'll respond here when he does. Apologies for the delay in response! Slockie has been on vacation and I've been sick, so we haven't been on Itch in a bit.

There are currently four chapters, with the fifth being the final one. The chapters each increase with size, however, so there is a lot of content to play through, with significant replayability, as there will be 11 potential endings to the game.

We're working on hosting the files ourselves. We'll update the download links accordingly once that's ready. We'll have that done well in advance of chapter 5, but if you're waiting to download chapter 4 then keep an eye out for the announcement of that change of host.
