Merge similar errors

The same error can sometimes have a unique text for each error. Such as: "Gibbon::MailChimpError: us...@example.org is already subscribed to the list."

I have been using Raygun lately and they are able to group such errors together.

Any ideas on how to improve the fingerprinting to merge similar errors together?
