UOM Conversion

I have entered purchacing UOM of an aluminium angle as "Length" and its conversion ratio as 12 and UOM as "Linear Foot".

I wanted to transfer 6 Linear foot from Stores 1 to Stores 2

So I opened the STOCK ENTRY to transfer 6 Linear Foot of Aluminium Angle and filled source warehouse and target warehouse. In that box I see UOM already auto-filled as "Length"

Although the UoM is allowed to overwrite as Linear Foot, under More Info heading UoM is still remain as "Length" and "Quantty as per stock UoM" as 72, which is wrong.

I was expecring to have it in "Linear Foot" everywhere other than in Purchasing UoM.

How can I rectify it.

Dear Sir,

You have entered the details in wrong location. In the Item form, enter the  Default Unit of Measure as linear foot   and under the purchase details section of the same form, in the UOM table, enter UOM as length with 12 as the conversion factor.
