Report only previlage

Can any one tell me how to allow general managers only to see reports in every modules

• Create a New Role ---> General Manager by going to Setup --> Role --> New
  
• Goto Permission Manager Select every document where you want to give the report access to this role and only give report access along with READ rights.

So in the current system the General Manager can see and read the transactions or doctypes and also see their corresponding reports. But I guess if you just want to give report access then that is currently not possible.
