Hi Rushabh,
Just read the posts on the webshop and was mighty shocked. I thought it was the next big release after stock-accounts integration. As far as my website is concerned we have already discontinued with the old one. We are only awaiting our production to start which is when we plan to go live with the website. I would love to have the webshop feature as we plan to offer our products for sale from the website the moment we go live. I can understand the limited resources but I hope you guys can get the feature going soon.

Regards,
Mehul.

    Dear all,

Few weeks back we released the updated website module. A lot of you have made great websites. Listing some of the good ones again:

    http://xavierltd.xbs360.com/
    http://ac.erpnext.com/120-volt.html
    http://laxsun.erpnext.com/

The next step is obviously the web-shop.

We have already started building a part of the webshop but we are not feeling very motivated to go ahead because none of the sites have gone "live" i.e. have put in the last bit of finishing effort required to make this a complete site.

The website module in erpnext is now fully tested (we have been running erpnext.com on it for a year) and we urge people to go "live". From whatever feedback we have got, the sites look clean and impressive too. If you still have any nagging doubts, please let us know. Also the sites are fully search engine friendly and responsive to mobile and tablet browsers.

So before we continue further development, we would like at least 5 sites (other than erpnext.com) to go live i.e. make this your primary website. Then that will motivate us for further development on the webshop.

    best,
    Rushabh

    Hi Rushabh,

Please check out http://sapphire.xbs360.com/ so this is nos 4.

Look at it this way , the Webshop will motivate more to develop their website .

There is so much we want to do with the Webshop we have been waiting for it for 2 years .

I hope this can spark up the motivation of your team and make a really good product even better and great.

    Thanks

    Dimeji,

Thanks for your response and your site has come out quite well.

Why don't you make this your primary website - what is stopping you?

I know you have been waiting but we are working on very tight resources. If not money, you can motivate us by making this our primary site.

    Dear Rushabh,

I trust you're doing great. First of all, I'd like to yet again express appreciation to you and your team for an excellent product.

Regarding websites, you need to appreciate the fact that there are lots of great website-publishing tools out there that have been around longer than ERPNext and which most webmasters are familiar and comfortable with. In fact, I dare say that most people already had a website up and running before they started using ERPNext for handling back-end administrative and financial operations.

The webshop however is an extremely compelling reason for any organisation that sells products and/or services online (and this is practically everyone and their mother) to move their primary website to ERPNext.

Imagine being able to sell your products online and have that immediately and automatically updated in your Accounts and Inventory! Order Placement becomes more appealing for the customer while Order Processing and Management becomes a breeze for the organisation! This is why we've been eagerly awaiting this for the last 2 years!

Oh and by the way, http://xavierltd.xbs360.com and http://sapphire.xbs360.com are actually primary websites (for all intents and purposes). That's why we took the time to develop them to that level!

    Kind regards,
    Olawale

    Wale,

Thanks again for your encouragement and trying out the feature. The benefit
of using ERPNext over other tools is already that you get you do not have
to duplicate the effort of publishing your item catalog.

Your sites are already pretty good - why not give them their own domain?

I am hoping to push a few more to start doing so it gives us more momentum,
feedback. Btw that does not mean we are going to delay the module by a fair
bit. I am also talking with a few other customers to make their website -
If all goes well we should be up in a couple of months.

    Rushabh,

    Couple of months??????

This is really disappointing to say the least. Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

I think I will just stop expecting the module and move on to other alternatives.

    Dimeji,

Please also understand we are working on very limited resources and not
only actively adding features but also maintaining, supporting, debugging,
helping people on the forum, all as a part of our small team and we have
never asked for money for upgrades or feature requests.

I would love to get the webshop out there as soon as possible, but we also
need to finish the new production documentation, create an all new
developer documentation, ensure releases are smooth, upgrade old reports
    etc.

I appreciate your enthusiasm in making the webshop module as quickly as
possible. I just hope there are other users who are as enthusiastic. If
they are, then now is the time to get themselves heard.

    best,
    Rushabh

    Dear Rabindra,

Check Item-Wise Price List report in Stock module. This report already has
Item Code with respective Price List details.

Also, you can make report on Item master itself and select Price List
columns in the report. Check option called Report (near Close option) on
    Item List page.

-Hi, yes with many invoices and delays this may create a problem. Most
(90%) of our customers pay cash or by bank card. So these are immediately
submitted. Customers who will pay by bank tranfert, or pay next time, etc
are not submitted. In the Accounts, Sales invoices List under show i only
tick drafts. Now I will see the customers who did not pay yet. I regularly
log into the bank website and see online the transactions. If i see a
payment than i submit the corresponding invoice.

May be not truly professional, but for us this approach works fine.

    Hi Hernan,

I am assuming that you are using Chrome browser.

    Please follow these steps:
    1. Open the login page
    2. Open Chrome's javascript console and go to the network tab.
    3. Clear the network tab. (there is a stop like sign that clears the entries)
    4. Put your credentials and try to login
    5. If you cannot login, there will remain an entry called server.py. Click on it and send us the output of the response tab via pastebin

    Thanks,
    Anand.

    Hi Slava,

I have created one report which can be accessed vide this link<https://gist.github.com/adityaduggal/5345130>.
What you would need to do:

    1. Create a query report.
    2. Copy paste this code in the query report.
    3. Change line no 10 and 11 with the actual names of the warehouse in
your system, currently there is a facility to show the stock in 2
warehouses, you can add many more warehouses as well.

There is a problem with this report. The problem is:

    1. It shows one item in one line even if there are multiple price list
for the item. I think some one good at joining the tables might be able to
tell the real problem since the joins used are not correct.

If you could see my table where item A is listed twice since it has 2 price
lists this is not happening in this report.

    Maybe this helps.

Addy, great job! I find it really faster and more convenient rather than
creating new Sales order. Yes I see, it works properly only for items with
    one price-list.

I know it is possible to show items with 2 prices lists twice but I guess I
am not so good at mysql joining of tables since my understanding is limited
in that regards. Hopefully some one could come up with a correction in the
    join.
