Hi,

We have a scenario, where user want to enter the data into the child table's row without expanding the row.

1 Lets take an example of purchase order.
2 User has created a purchase order with two items, but he has not enter the rate.

3 To update the rate he has to expand the row and enter the value like below

But our user want to update the rate without expanding the row

Such scenario is feasible in frappe, please suggest.

Thanks Rohit

Rohit,

This is not available in frappe. It was a design decision to make editable tables for mobiles. Once a row is expanded though, you can jump to next row using keyboard shortcuts. So it shouldn't be so much of a hindrance. If a user wants quick entry, have they tried using the POS view? Try checking Setup > Customize > Feature Setup > POS View.

-Anand.
