SETUP ISSUE

Hi guys,

I have downloaded and installed the ova in vbox 

upon starting the machine i seeee fire fox and the start page for setup

but two issues in setup 

i cannot setup time zone for my country that is Eastern standard time 

My country is Aruba And the currency is AWG which i can manually enter but the time zone is a issue as i do not get the drop down for the time zones

so i am stuckhere 

awaiting a reply

Hi Sharad

In the browser address bar type

http://localhost:8080/app.html#Form/Control Panel

Here set the time zone and save. It is already set when you complete installation the first time you login. But you can change from control panel.

Dear Anand,

after following your steps i still have the same issue

I have attached the image to show what i am facing 

the system shows another time and the VM shows another time

is there a command line command i can use to set the time

Hi,

It seems that you are asking about the time zone of the operating system. Search for settings in the application menu and look for regional or time related settings.

yes that is true
but the problem also is the setup screen of the erpnext
which does not give me the time zone option
as attached in the picture

Sharad,

Sorry we do not have Aruba in the country list. For whatever reasons, Wikipedia does not have that info either: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_zone (this is from where we picked our data).

We will have to write a patch to fix this. Will try and do this in the next couple of days.

We have added Aruba to list of countries.

Please update your account by doing 

lib/wnf.py --update origin master

in the erpnext folder
