Keep Carmen for now

I asked if we should keep her on for a few more weeks while everything was figured out and he said keep everything as it is for the time being

Sherry, can Carmen keep working? Does she know anyone who can do weekends when the weather cools off?

I'll talk to Carmen this Friday and let her know about the change in management this October.

This means no severance pay at the moment, right?

Carmen will continue with her regular hours through the end of September?

I'll also ask her about taking on reduced responsibilities/salary starting in October.

The weather should be nice enough in September for the playroom to get less traffic so if we can't find a weekend cleaning person, things shouldn't be too bad. I've asked her in the past if she knew anyone who might want to clean on the weekends, but we came up empty.

OK, great. Correct, no severance at the moment. Regular hours through the end of September and there is a chance they might use her after that -- full or reduced schedule is uncertain.

Hi Sherry, 

Maintenance will give us a key. I don't think I will have time before I leave to get it -- will you be able to go? They have my name, though I just told Shulie that you will likely pick it up so maybe he will let them know that. If you have any problems, have them call Shulie Wolman in the office.
