Dear East River Playroom Members,

This still in - As a result of recent work to add a new coat of paint and to make enhancements to the Playroom, some furniture, shelving, and other items are currently not permanently secured to the walls and floors.  This creates some risk or items falling or being knocked over.  Please exercise caution when using the Playroom, and please pass this message on to any caregivers who take your children to the Playroom.  Please also recall that the use of the Playroom is at your own risk and that the volunteers assume no liability for its condition.  We will provide updates as they become available, but please keep in mind that there are currently additional risks associated with using the Playroom.

Special thanks to the following families for their handiness in facing various IKEA challenges: Julie & Jared Lansky, Johanna Berke, Steven Weiss, Rachel Feinerman, Brett Zelkind, Julian Swearingen, Annah Smyth, Gordon Palumbo, Brian Crowley and a few of you whose names I do not know or who worked when no one else was around - thank you!
