Hi all,

interview went for 46 minutes.

Initially he started talking about the table set IDs.setID and record groups.

He talked about 15 mins on it.he was giving me a scenario and I was giving him a scenario of examples for that.

Then he asked how do you rate urself in functional stuff .

I gave myself 8's as usual.

How do you add compensation codes to employees.

I said job data.

Is there any other way???

I don't remember the navigation but I guess you can go to Payroll for NA and you will have comp table where you can add employees.(I have no Idea if its correct or not)

The asked diff between after tax deductions and taxable deductions.

I was giving defn of taxable deductions and he asked me how does it affect payroll.

I said I don't know.I am well worst with the basic payroll processes and ben processes but not deeply involved in the configuration.

Asked while setting up PPlsoft which one do you create first.company tbl or dept tbl.

I cockily answered company first as you associate dept to company(I am not sure if its correct.)

Then asked how does eligibility rules and event rules get triggered.

First thing they come into picture in ben admin not benefits

And started explaining the process.

He said if I relocate what is the process.

 Geographic locations need to be changed even you relocate if it does then,

Talked about the basic cycle of ben admin.

Then he turned his attention to technical.

Asked have you worked on app engines.

Yes

Tell me about restartable logic.have you worked on it.give m a example.

I started talking all the peplebooks stuff.(talked for around 5 min)

Then asked have you worked on CI

Most of the times when you are working with AE it is in tandem with CI.

Have you worked on Peoplecode.

Its like the key for all the remaining things.I rate my self a "Consultant" 9(didn't actually said consultant)

Have you worked on Integration tools.

Yes. lately I am working a lot on Integration Broker.especially after 8 48 when it changed to IB from messaging it is more modularized.

What have you done.

Gave a lot of examples for IB.and talked a little about Workflow too.
