Job Description:
1. Azure DevOps (ADO) Technical Configuration
Process & Board Engineering: Configure custom Process Templates, work item rules, and synchronized state transitions to automate the flow of work across Teams and Projects.
Complex Pipeline Development: Build and maintain multi-stage YAML pipelines using modular templates, including implementation of build-once-deploy-many patterns.
Environment & Service Management: Configure Service Connections using Managed Identities and Service Principals to enable secure, automated communication between ADO and Azure.
Advanced Reporting: Develop custom queries and back-end integration with Power BI to extract and visualize raw metadata from ADO for technical performance tracking.
2. Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, test, and version-control Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to manage all Azure resources, ensuring zero manual configuration in the Azure Portal.
Network & Security Implementation: Technically implement VNet peering, Private Endpoints, and Azure Key Vault integration for secure secret management within the CI/CD lifecycle.
Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR), including Helm chart management and container lifecycle automation.
Scripting & Tooling: Write production-grade PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python scripts to automate repetitive system administration tasks and custom API integrations.
Technical Requirements
Primary Tools: Mastery of the full Azure DevOps suite (Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Artifacts).
Infrastructure: 10+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Compute, Storage, and Networking.
Identity: Deep technical knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for RBAC and permissions management.
Versioning: Advanced Git proficiency, including managing complex branching strategies and merge conflict resolution at scale.
