Job Title: Sr Test Manager

Location: Columbus, Ohio 43215 (locals only)

Soft Skills 

• Position requires candidate to be hands on.  This includes being a strong presence in the office. 
• Candidate will be meeting with stakeholders (Director level) and must understand their audience.
• Significant amount of time with coordination and oversite of conversion 
• First year of project, testing will be a huge component. 
• Strong written and verbal skills required. 
• Must effectively communication alignment of migration

Key Traits 

• Already done a data warehouse conversion.  Understands the complexity. 
• Experience testing on a data warehouse project – important. 
• On prem to cloud testing for migration.  (More niche than standard)
• Coordinate with business, with different hubs of the business.    
• Hands on during project and considered a senior level role.  
• Automotive/FS background beneficial.  
• Focus on BMW’s Bobcat project. 
• Technology 

Solid Understanding/critical knowledge of below tools required: 

• Sequel
• Reporting
• Snowflake 
• JIRA 
• X Ray 

Nice to have knowledge: 

Selenium 
Manager Specifics:
They do not need a test analyst. They need someone who can manage the testing program. Leadership role or a test program lead. Senior level.

Experience Needed:

• Manage Multiple testing streams in an Agile environment.
• Manage a distributed team of test analysts and test executors.
• Coordinate testing efforts with projects leveraging the same testing resources.
• Design and templatize test and execution standards for analysts and test executors.
• Create and communicate a testing strategy and plan.
• Create and align test schedule with business, development, and testing resources.
• Design, execute, and communicate reporting on test status and testing projections on daily, weekly, and sprint cadences.
• Advocate for, and support, the testing efforts in team, management, and executive forums.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Microsoft Tool set.
• Strong organizational skills
• Must have a bachelors degree
