currently looking for someone who has hands-on engineering experience with this product:
Long-term contractor role. Will need to sit on-site in Philadelphia 5 days a week. Relocation candidates welcome. Will hire off of phone/skype if need be.
IRIS project – using a lot of interesting technologies to unify multi-communication abilities (audio, video, 911 etc.). Incorporates a lot of open source technologies.
Skill set is someone with knowledge of SIP routing and SIP telephony with ability to work on FreeSWITCH (an open source SIP application).
There are a lot of FreeSWITCH users (who can do basic configuration) who worked in a NOC. This is not who they need. They need someone who has done engineering work in FreeSWITCH.
Need someone who understands the SIP network.
Will start out as a contractor role at Comcast. Already budgeted and approved through 12/31/17. Very strong chance of either extension through all of 2018 as well.
