TheASTER3 program structure is represented by a flower, where each of the petals are strategic themes. The petals are overlapping to demonstrate that some projects under the ASTER3 program encompass multiple strategic themes.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used to understand and anticipate protected species presence to inform timely management decisions. These techniques are particularly helpful when large amounts of information need to be analyzed to identify patterns. They can be used to detect animal vocalizations from acoustic recordings as well as from diverse types of imagery. For example, acoustic recordings from hydrophones, or underwater microphones, can be analyzed to automatically detect whale presence instead of having to manually sort through large amounts of recordings to visually detect whales. There are incredible amounts of data but current processes are extremely time consuming, costly, and involve large backlogs. Using these techniques will expedite data processing and provide critical science products for management and conservation decisions more efficiently.

The ocean soundscape is a critical component of the underwater environment. Many protected species rely on sound to communicate with each other, including navigating, finding food, mating, and avoiding predators. Passive acoustic monitoring of marine mammals is an efficient and cost-effective way to assess their occurrence, particularly over large and remote areas. Stationary or mobile platforms or buoys can provide near real-time detection capabilities. Scientists can use acoustic data to:

Increasing ocean noise due to human activities can impact how animals eat, breed, nurse, and communicate, which makes investigating technologies to make the ocean quieter important. Quieting technology such as alternative propulsion ship design and noise abatement systems can reduce human-caused noise impacts to protected marine species and their acoustic habitats. This is important for ensuring that species are able to thrive in their natural habitats.

Using advanced statistical methods scientists can analyze multiple data sources, explore patterns in the data, and estimate important population metrics. These methods help researchers make meaningful inferences from data collected in the field and take advantage of recent advances in computer processing and applied mathematics. For example, statistical models for estimating abundance, distribution, and movements over wide areas can be used to map where animals like humpback whales are likely to occur. Spatial models can also create more productive and more cost-effective sampling designs for field surveys. Advanced statistical methods allow us to make sense of and learn from extensive datasets to inform management decisions and promote protection of species.

The Aster Initiative program believes in progressive education. In our endeavor to support the development and education of the whole child, we understand that there are many ways to cater to the individuality of every student. Therefore, we incorporate multiple philosophies into our program such as Bank Street, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia. The Aster Initiative program is designed for students 3K through 5th grade offering a multitude of extracurricular activities and ultimately being an extension of the classroom. Students continue to grow, learn and have fun while attending our program.

Thousand thanks for developing software of this type that goes against the interest of the market in selling you more equipment instead of taking advantage of the real potential of the products that one acquires.

"The big advantage of using software ASTER's assurance is that there is no longer any need for families to buy another expensive computer or wait in line to work remotely. You just need to connect a second monitor or TV to a free video card output, also connect an additional keyboard and mouse, and you will get a second standalone working place with minimal cost. I am grateful to the IBIK company for the fact that they promptly provided us with such an opportunity."

"For four years hardware-software complexes with the ASTER program were used during the admissions board. The time for preparing computers is reduced, and the space savings are obvious. Thanks to IBIK company!"

"I started up an Internet caf last year in Mubende, my home district in Uganda. I was embarrassed by desktop computers in the first case, but after studying electrical and hardware bills for a given time, I found out that they were not Guinean franc compared to my monthly earnings. I started looking for a way to improve and upgrade to a cheaper, better, fewer maintenance expenses, simpler technology that can suit my situation. I downloaded a trial version of ASTER and then installed it on my HCL duo core. This has greatly simplified my system, in that everyone who comes to my Internet cafe is amazed by its technology and even some can't imagine how Simple it is! ASTER Software technology has greatly inspired even my customers on how I made it and many are consulting me on how it works.

Wow!!! Wow!!!.Wow!!! Thank you!"

"Ever since I became aware of ASTER, I have used it at home as well to share our home PC with other members. ASTER has helped us at both our office and at home! We have saved money on purchasing new computers at home and at the office. ASTER is a great tool to save money, space and power consumption of the computers in offices as well as at home! We are so glad that we were able to organize remote work for our employees, which has empowered them to continue working even through the pandemic. This has been the biggest positive we have experienced this year. IBIK has helped us drive through the pandemic. Thanks to the great product ASTER from IBIK and their amazing support!"

"Good morning, pleased to have given me the opportunity to send information about myself and my company, I actually used your app for some time, that is, the free versions, I realized that it was the best economical solution for an educational institution and department, and it can work much better here in my country, where the cost of electricity is very high.

I am a director of a school and computer science, of Guinea Bissau nationality.

Thank you, a hug."

Multiseat Software for MS Windows 11/10/8/7. ASTER is a program (and only a program!) which allows to create a few workplaces on base of a single PC. ASTER is a multiseat software for Windows allows creating up to 12 independent Windows workplaces on the base of a single PC.

Aster's programs rely on the support from our community and partners. A fun, meaningful way to support the Pet Program is to purchase pet supplies and donate them directly to Aster. Whether you want to purchase pet supplies online, host a pet food drive at your workplace, or go to a pet store with your family to pick out treats, all support is greatly appreciated by our program participants and their furry companions.

Donating money directly to the Neighbors/Pet program gives us the funds we need to immediately address the changing needs of our participants. We greatly appreciate any level of financial contribution you can comfortably provide. All contributions to Aster Aging are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The care provided at Aster House is based on Co-occurring Enhanced Residential Rehabilitation Service (COE-RRS). This innovative treatment program is part of a statewide effort to address the addiction crisis in Massachusetts.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) All genders, ages 18+

Designed as a solid bridge for those stepping down from residential care or as a preventive program to hospitalizations, PHP offers more independence to practice learned skills in real-life situations while maintaining structured therapy five days per week.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) All genders, ages 18+

Designed for individuals who are experiencing an increase in distressing symptoms and behaviors or are not progressing in traditional outpatient services, the extra support and treatment foster meaningful improvement and create a solid foundation. Offered during the day and during the evening, our IOP meets three to five days per week.

We offer many payment options, including in-network, out-of-network, single-case agreements, and private-pay options. Our Admissions Team works with each client to make our world-class treatment available to them.

Located just minutes away from downtown Music City, our multidisciplinary treatment team will provide tailored treatment plans designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Aster Springs provides eating disorder treatment for all genders, ages 18 and older, via our residential program (for women), partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP). At Aster Springs, we believe people aren\u2019t defined by their eating disorder. Each client we work with is unique and valued for who they are as a person. We take a whole-person, compassionate approach to care to help each client take the next steps toward lasting recovery.

This beautiful aster was originally described in 1835 by botanist John Leonard Riddell and named Aster oolentangiensis after the Olentangy River in Ohio where he found it near Worthington, Ohio. Riddell misspelled the river name with two Os and thus the species has that spelling. Its name was later changed to Aster azureus to reflect its sky blue flower color. When the genus was changed to Symphyotrichum the older species name had precedence.
