In addition to the 16 dance emotes included in the vanilla version, 17 dance or pose more have been added.
(The name of the dance may not be appropriate.)

For some custom alien races, the dance or pose may seem odd.

The festive roots have sprouted across the map, just waiting to see your favourite yuletides cosmetics and emotes. You'll need to dance around five Fortnite Christmas trees in order to complete this challenge, so I've gone ahead and laid out where they all are.

You'll recognize the holiday trees because they're basically 30-foot tall Christmas trees with lights, baubles, and maybe some loot chests around them. Just look for the festively-decorated tree surrounded near some plain ones, looking rather sad. They're nice and tall; you can't really mis them as you glide over each named area.

Flames of Immolation is a non-functional interactive A-Tier furniture that was obtainable from the Event Store during the Ashes of Memory II event from November 16th to November 30th, 2023. It can be placed on the floor of a Custom Lobby.

It is a large bonfire made of many sticks piles together in a cone shape. More sticks are stacked and linked around the outside to form a log-cabin bonfire structure. Grey stones are scattered around the base. Upon being lit, bright orange flames with yellow sparks will engulf the center sticks.

When three players simultaneously perform a Dance emote in front of the furniture when it is lit, a fiery figure of Dream Witch will appear within the flames along with a cloud of deep orange smoke. She dances herself before disappearing.

Just as cloth draped over a wall or a fence, or paint on ledges has become synonymous with showing you things you can climb in video games. The tactical crouch has become an effective form of communication in multiplayer games.

From that moment onwards we stuck together to help each other find them. If we slipped off a cliff edge and died, the other was there to revive us. A quick bend of the knees to signal our thanks to each other and we were back on our way again. This silent action somehow manages to convey multiple different things.

There is another movement that has also become part of that friend-making body language. The wiggle. The lean from left to right that you can do in certain games has also been adopted as something that can signal you as an ally. Providing you wiggle from side to side in quick succession of course.

It seems like almost every multiplayer video game has emotes these days. Whilst some of them are silly and over the top. There are many that tend to be helpful or help create a sense of camaraderie among players. Have you just completed a raid or strike in Destiny? Have a little dance party with your fireteam. Maybe someone showed you a secret hiding within a cave, high five to say thank you.

Beyond the dances and weirder emotes that exist. There are useful ones in games. Escape from Tarkov has simple hand gestures that can provide feedback. Many survival games have some form of surrender allowing you to put your hands up.
