The location of the meeting to discuss the proposed homeless navigation center near the intersection of Oltorf and I-35 has been changed. It will no longer be held at the Travis Heights Elementary School, as originally posted. Concerned citizens will now meet at the La Quinta Inn at 1603 East Oltorf at 5 PM on Thursday, September 25. District 9 Councilmember Qadri and the City of Austin Homeless Strategy Office have both decided they do not want to talk to citizens directly, and will not attend, but citizens can still discuss next steps.

If you cannot attend, please visit the website created by South River City Citizens:

Will Velásquez attend? I just emailed his office—haven’t heard back yet?

Hey y’all -

New to EROC and newer to the area (been here 2 years). Learning a lot from this group so far and grateful for the work all of you are doing. We were burglarized around a month or two ago.

When is the next EROC meeting? Wasn’t able to attend this and so curious to hear a debrief about it went.
