There is no planned date for the start of construction. The River Park Phase 1 construction of the music venue at the intersection of E. ERC UPDATE AND GROVE PROJECT

Jan Long attended meeting on the East Riverside Corridor Plan update and the Grove development. The report on these meetings:

“The City has begun its outreach on the development of the 125-acre city-owned parcel at the intersection of Grove Blvd and East Riverside. The first Community Meeting was held on January 31 in the former Tokyo Electron building. Stakeholders were able to meet with City representatives and express their preferences for this project as part of the East Riverside Corridor. A second Community Meeting was held on March 26, focusing primarily on the Grove-Riverside site.  Stakeholders met in groups and discussed options. This will be developed to include substantial residential density, retail, and office space, taking advantage of light rail along East Riverside. It is an opportunity for stakeholders to advocate for a recreational center in EROC, a blend of housing opportunities, and parkland.”
