GROVE-RIVERSIDE PROJECT PRESENTATION TUESDAY, JUNE 2 AT 6 PM ON ZOOM

The City of Austin has purchased the remainder of the former Tokyo Electron campus. This property runs along the west side of Grove Blvd. to Riverside Drive. The city also owns the property on the southeast corner of the Grover-Riverside intersection. These properties total about 125 acres. The city is developing a plan for how to develop this property. One option would be a Mueller-style development, with affordable, owner-occupied houses, parks, trails, and shopping. There will be a presentation about this development on Zoom, on Tuesday, June 2, at 6 PM. This is an opportunity for EROC residents to give input on what we want to see in this development. Hi Malcolm, 

I am trying to reach you regarding an upcoming speed mitigation design phase on Woodland Avenue 78741. The design work is fully funded and begins in June! The street was studied and approved for speed mitigation/traffic calming last year. It is a hazardous street section. We want EROC to be aware and help advocate that the design is done correctly to keep our neighborhood safe. The street section is located directly in front of the new Woodland Pocket Park and makes it even more urgent to improve pedestrian and traffic safety.
