The neighborhoods east and west of I-35 have joined forces to address the problem of crime in the East Riverside area. The South Austin Neighborhood Safety Alliance will host a meeting with public safety organizations to discuss how we can reduce crime in our neighborhoods. Attending this meeting will be representatives of the Austin Police Department, Travis County Constables, Cap Metro Police, AISD Police, Life Anew Restorative Justice, the Wildflower Church, Travis Early College High School Administration, Faculty and Students, Faith Presbyterian Church, business owners including La Quinta and Donn’s BBQ. Please attend to learn how you can become involved in advocating for safer neighborhoods. The meeting will be held in the library of Travis Early College high School. There will be school staff at the front entrance to the school to open the doors. Enter the parking area from the SB I-35 service road, after the entrances for Denny’s and the insurance agency.

Malcolm,
I am not familiar with the campus. Can I enter on foot from Oltorf?

I am one of the thirteen members of the Advisory Board for the new homeless navigation center.

Yes, you can walk to Travis and enter from Oltorf. I have attached a street view of the pavilion at the main entrance to Travis, and the aerial view showing the entrance from Oltorf.
