This pack of handwriting pages gives your students the handwriting practice they need in an engaging way. They will build writing stamina, review letter & number formation, and practice sight words while learning new jokes and fun facts!
Love using this as a calm down activity after lunch. This gives my students practice with handwriting, which they are struggling with as they are so used to using iPads for all of their work from previous years.

So many of my students need handwriting practice especially after the last two years! This is such a fun and engaging way to get them to enjoy practice. My students use it as early finisher work. I let them use skinny markers or colored pencils to make it even more fun.
My students really need handwriting support, and I was looking for a resource in which they could practice in a fun way! They are enjoying the facts they learn each day, and I love that it is a great scaffolded resource for letter and sentence formation. I use it as a literacy center, and it goes smoothly in class.

I used this as independent morning work for a student who struggles with letter formation and handwriting. He was excited to complete it every morning and I am seeing pleasing results in his handwriting.
I love this. I use it as morning work for my 3rd graders. Half of my class is ESOL, and the majority of the other half is 2 or more grade levels below in everything ? This is great for the kiddos who have poor handwriting and/or still recognize letters. Worth the money!
My students love this resource. They look forward to practicing the joke of the day. Then when almost everyone has arrived and just about done a few kids read it out loud. Since a majority of my students are ELLs, I have to explain some of the jokes but they enjoy it.
My 2nd graders were to start practicing cursive handwriting during the second semester, but I could tell that they still needed print handwriting practice. My student handwriting had suffered because of online learning happening during their kindergarten and part of their first grade year. This resource was engaging and they really enjoyed telling me the different facts and jokes. I highly recommend!
This has been a great resource in the classroom and for practice at home. I have been looking for something just like this! What they are writing is meaningful and fun for them while getting in that handwriting practice.
My students have really been enjoying this resource. It is the first they do when they come to my room. The jokes are corny, and they laugh at the silliness. The boxes to check off their work at the bottom have been extremely beneficial for many of them as well.

Some of my students had very poor fine motor & handwriting after the Covid school years. This was a fun & engaging way to work with a group of students that needed additional handwriting practice. We looked forward to the different jokes on each page!
Cursive Writing Practice: Jokes & Riddles takes a novel approach to handwriting practice. Rather than practicing handwriting with dry source material, students write jokes and riddles in cursive. Since I have three boys that love a good joke, I knew that my oldest would love sharing new jokes with his brothers.
Students have the option to create their own joke booklet when the workbook is completed (instructions at the front of the book). A dashed line between the top and bottom portions of each page shows where to cut.
You may want to decide how you want to schedule Cursive Writing Practice: Jokes & Riddles. I have my son use it about four times a week. He writes the practice words on a practice page one day, and then writes out the joke the next day. Other options for using this workbook include:
