Hey all,

Great job on a solid term of soccer! We ended up finishing at the top of the table with our only loss coming in the first game for which we hadn't fielded a full strength team. 

GSC will start on January 13 next term and will be on Sundays. Take note of the comment about shin guards

Thanks to all who participated in our fall 2012 GSC soccer season. Please share this message with all your teammates.

 

On Wednesday Dec 5, we had a Winter 2013 soccer league organizational meeting and captains voted to hold our soccer games on the NORTH Field on Sundays during Winter term. We will again have a certified referee for each game; costs will be primarily covered by a generous gift from GSC however  each team will be asked to pay $54 (by Feb 3) to cover the cost of three additional games. Shin guards will become mandatory for all GSC soccer players as of Feb 3, 2013…folks will not be allowed to play in GSC soccer matches if they are not wearing shin guards.

 

The Winter 2013 GSC Soccer season will commence Sunday January 13, 2013. Very soon, I’ll be getting a schedule to all team captains for dissemination to your teams.

 

Here are the final standings based on games of today (Saturday Dec 8):
