Dear All,
The below short article may interest list members. It deploys Becker and TMT to make sense of the capitalist profit-motive in general, and the Trump phenomenon in particular. The piece also uses Nietzschean and Buddhist philosophy to critically reflect on the limits of Becker’s own existential pessimism.
