How do I migrate data to the newest version?

I just downloaded the new version (2010.05), but I can't migrate our
data from the old version to it. I've tried going to External Data >
Access. I then browse to our old ERMes file and select the Import
Tables, Queries... radio button. In the Import Options window, I
choose "Select All" for all tabs and click OK to begin the import.
The files import correctly and everything seems to run smoothly.
However, once it's done, I see that none of my old data imported at
all.

I don't see migration directions in either the release notes or the
new instructions. Can anyone lend a hand?
