I completely wiped my erlware, reinstalled, set my preferred erts at
5.6.5, install the sinan release and a couple apps.

Now sinan won't work. It will gen and clean but not compile. (s
below is a bash alias for /usr/local/erlware/bin/sinan on my system)

Another thing I discovered for myself today. I hope to get this
resolved very shortly. Thanks for the report.

Another thing I noticed is that, while it seems that nothing is
happening on the console, one whole core is consumed by a beam.smp
process (100%).

Yea. Its in a loop in the dependency routines. I am back from vacation
now so hopefully will be back on track.

I'm running into this problem as well. I'm trying to get started w/
erlware, but this looks like a blocker.

Eric shoudl be releasing a new version soon.  I have held him up with one more feature request.  In the mean time try running 'faxien install-release sinan 0.11.0.0' which should give you an older working version for now.
