to Erlounge Wellington
I'm a Systems Analyst at Catalyst IT in Wellington. I started hacking
Erlang while Geoff was there and try hard to maintain the code. There
is occasionally a need for Geoff to reappear, at least
electronically :) It's a nice system, shuffles telecoms messages
around effectively and gives little trouble.

My physical ass is stuck in a chair in Waitakere, and I telework into
the Wellington office. This also makes me the one "on the ground" in
Auckland, so I get to do other stuff as it crops up. Other stuff
doesn't often involve Erlang.

I do a lot of work on 3D printer The RepRap Project http://reprap.org
and am a founder member. Believe it or not we occasionally get people
interested in writing Erlang drivers for such things, but nothing has
emerged from the code-mill yet.

I'm an artist, writer, medic, and space nut with lots of cats. Oh,
wife & 2 kids somewhere around here ....

... I love 'em really.

welcome here and probably the catalyst guys make you come down here somewhen (there have to be important meetings ...), would be a perfect opportunity to meet then :-)

well, sad but true, getting erlang work in NZ is kind of hard. probably telecom is the only one running a larger peace of erlang in prod down here.

cheers
