i'll talk about an event queueing mechanism that i've written for
processing asynchronous events via RabbitMQ and persisting them in
CouchDB. I use it from perl and erlang to process various stages of
the message and it demonstrates quite nicely how one can use a message
passing infrastructure to build scalable applications - programming
language independent.
