When using a comparator on a Sculk Sensor we can get different Redstone outputs depending on the type of vibration sensed by the Sculk Sensor. For example: Footsteps have a frequency of 1 meaning the power of the redstone is only 1 out of the comparator.
My problem is that you finish eating food before the 2 seconds are up for the Sculk Sensor. So it will start to detect the Start Eating but it won't detect the finish eating. The only way around it I've noticed is to eat 2 items. You will start eating the 2nd item while the detection is still happening for the first one, and then the Sculk Sensor will deactivate and reactivate when the eating finishes.
The problem is similar although inverted in this case. Pressing a button will activate a Sculk Sensor and the button will unpress before the Sculk Sensor can deactivate again. Making the deactivation more or less useless to detect. Again you'd have to perform the action twice for it to be detected.
This has been a persistent issue on macOS (the only system I used for playing) for the last 2 years. I never did any extensive testing and blamed multiplayer for it. I always solved it by tapping the "frozen" direction key one or two times.
Now, with your report of occurrence during single player, I do suspect a bug.
All our PCs are using Windows 10, so if it is the same issue it doesn't seem to be platform specific. Unfortunately, I've tried tapping the frozen direction key to stop it, which is the only advice I've been able to find online, but this doesn't seem to work in our case, so it may not be the same issue.
This has been an issue since subscribing to (Mac version) Minecraft Edu. Just double press whatever direction button the character is moving. It's like an auto-run and very annoying, especially with younger children.
When I double press a direction, it only causes my avatar to run instead of walk. It doesn't stop "auto-run" as you suggested. When I release the direction key, my character keeps moving for several seconds and then stops on its own without double pressing anything.
It's weird, everything seems normal, and I can turn off and on the controller, go to the PS menu and click around there fine but when I start any game, only the PS button works. Is there a reasob for this? I've tried resetting the controller, plugging the controller in, unplugging it, turning on the PS while it's plugged in, and nothing seems to fix it. Any help would be appreciated
I am trying to run a small minecraft server via Ubuntu desktop 12.04 for my kids. I got minecraft installed and running, but don't want to run via the Terminal all the time. I'm trying to pin a Minecraft button to the launcher and am running into trouble. Here's what I've tried:
So I was just playing minecraft and I went to make a cobble stone button, so I put in a Piece of cobblestone in and it doesn't exist, so I search it up and nobody's talking about it, am I just dumb or...
Hello! So my best friend and I are putting together a semi-vanilla minecraft server. We're slowly but surely getting everything together but one thing we haven't been able to set up is a one time use button for our players. I won't go into the details as to why I need this; but, I need a button that once pressed will give the player an item or items and then prevent that specific player from pressing the button ever again while still allowing other players the chance to also press the said button one time as well.
We're not sure if it just commands or if we need to install another plugin (which we're fine with doing) but all I can find on the internet is either buttons that can only be pressed once, by a single person and that's it, or buttons that when pressed create a force field that other players can't get through.
I have bought Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. It's working just as I want it except that "back" button on the left side. I constantly hit it with the thumb and browser goes back. I am not used to this behavior, since my older mouse didn't have such a button. I just want to get rid of it -- disable the button once and forever, so if I clicked it -- nothing should happen.
I would like to throw out X-Mouse Button Control as a more generic program. For example, I'm currently using a Dell mouse with a non-Dell computer, and they have decided to lock their mouse drivers to only install on their own computers. X-Mouse should work with most mice:
The only real answer to that is to try it and see, but there are several tell tales signs. If you have a 5 button (or more) mouse and the 4th and 5th buttons perform back/next in your web browser then its almost certain XMBC will work for the first 5 buttons (XMBC does not support more than 5 buttons).
I took a flat-head screwdriver and a pair of pliers and I used the flat-head screwdriver to pry up the offending button, then I used the pliers to get a hold of that bugger and pull it loose from the housing. It caused the housing around the left button to loosen a bit, but I managed to work it back into its original position and now the mouse works great.
This is a great mouse, but that back button is way too big and too easy to press. It would be nicer if it were further forward and about 1/5th it's manufactured length. It would be nice if the button actually had to be PRESSed to activate rather than just barely touched as you reach over--without looking--to grab the mouse in order to scroll down or something. Now that I've removed that button, it really is a great mouse.
I needed to do this in 2022, with a Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse on Windows 10. IntelliMouse isn't a thing any more, and I didn't want to get into third-party things unless absolutely necessary. The download link I needed was in fact right there on the product page, but hidden away. As of today, the page has two tabs, "Overview" and "Tech specs", and the downloads are at the very bottom of "Tech specs". The download will give you an app called "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center" which allows remapping or disabling the function of any button on any Microsoft mouse.
To access splitscreen mode you need to turn "multiplayer" off in options. Sounds counter intuitive, but the "multiplayer" setting in this case means "multiplayer online", which would explain why you get a Switch Online prompt roadblock. So, turn that off multiplayer in the options, and player two should be able to join by pressing (+) button, which initiates Splitscreen mode.
Subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online does not block multiplayer on one console or across multiple consoles. It only grants access to online games that require it. So, something else changed, or a step is being missed.
In this video, they mention you need to turn "multiplayer" off in options to access splitscreen multiplayer. Sounds counter intuitive, but I think multiplayer setting in this case means "online", which would explain why you get a Switch Online prompt roadblock. @Dermeron Cross platform appears possible, but when I search "minecraft cross platform play", one thing I saw is, you need to have compatible editions of minecraft for cross platform play. I don't know enough to delve further into this topic, though. I think it's safe to say, your wifi is fine, if you've been able to play online with other games.
You may want to ask minecraft support. A response from minecraft support could be quicker and less stressful because, in here, you may not get an answer, or even a good answer.

I am sorry to hear that. Don't be disappointed; you can find many ways to fix this problem. The first one is to uninstall and reinstall the game. Also, you have to be sure it is updated to its latest version. If that doesn't help, try contacting a Nintendo service; maybe you will find a solution to your problem. I am not working in the IT field, and I don't know what else to recommend to you. If you manage to fix the online mode of the game, you can find some cool servers on -minecraft.net/minecraft-bedwars-servers .
Vivecraft includes an Auto-Sprint setting that will activate sprint when a joystick or trigger is pressed far enough. This frees up a button that would otherwise need to be dedicated to sprint. A sprint binding is available if an alternate setup is desired.
Vivecraft also has a roomscale bow mechanic. When a bow is equipped in either hand, the bow will appear in the offhand, and any available arrows in the right hand. Physically nock the arrow and hold the Attack button (usually right trigger) to draw the bow. Aim and release Attack to fire the bow.
The keys available on the keyboard can be changed by editing .minecraft/optionsviveprofiles.txt. Look for the settings KeyboardKeys: and KeyboardKeysShift:. The keyboard should support most Unicode characters.
The radial menu is bound by default to allow access to several uncommonly used commands. The radial menu can be customized in VR Settings. Any keybind can be set on the radial menu, and there are several options available to adjust how it behaves.
Vivecraft adds a button to the Game Menu (pause menu) to access a set of pre-defined chat or / commands to send to the server with a click. You can customize this list in the VR Settings menu. Handy for commonly used commands like /home or /gamemode. A set of defaults is provided. Praise the Sun!
To get to the settings manager, open the full-screen mapand click the settings button at the bottom, or press the O key. Each entry in the list represents a specific category of settings - clickon it to expand and see the settings within.
