Société : Myriad France

As a key member of the Mobile Service Division R&D team, you will
contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing products as
well as the development (Specification, Design, Implementation and
Test) of new carrier-grade, highly available, core network service
platforms for Mobile Operators.

Our team utilizes an Agile-type development process, and you will
participate and contribute to team plans as well as all phases of the
development activities. Your work will involve technologies such as
Erlang, Linux, SS7 (SMS, SMPP), RADIUS/DIAMETER, CAMEL, CORBA, SOAP,
MySQL, NoSQL (Tokyo Tyrant / Tokyo Cabinet), J2ME, J2EE, Python, and
Ruby.


Key Responsibilities

 Working with the team coach, specify develop, test, integrate and
maintain solution software products
 Requirements analysis and implementation estimations as well as
taking part in team commitments
 Design and implement product solutions working in multi-site teams
(R&D in France).
 Delivery of product components on schedule and to agreed quality
 Working with the Product Owner on defect prioritization and
resolution


Knowledge Skills and Experience

 Telecom Engineer - knowledge in Core Network technologies (GSM and
IN architecture, SS7 and telecom network protocols, network
programming)
 3 to 5 years relevant industry experience in Software development –
Experience in developing High Capacity highly available service
platforms
 Sound knowledge of and ability to apply standard software
development principles, theories, programming languages, concepts and
techniques
 Knowledge of Erlang or any functional programming language –
knowledge of an Object Oriented language is a plus
 Solid problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
 Experience with database set-up/admin/development mySQL/postgreSQL –
NoSQL is a plus
