First Meeting Organization

Hello everyone!

I think we have reached a critical mass of people interested in Erlang
on this list so it is only natural to gather for a small meeting to kick
things off. Dominique Boucher of Nu Echo has gracefully accepted to
deliver a talk on his company's experience using Erlang.

We need an appropriate venue for the meeting which will probably have a
small attendance, so a small room at McGill, for example, would do for
now. However, you might know of a better option and you'd like to share?

I can probably secure use of the Notman house lobby. In fact, if there
are only a few of us (say fewer than 10) we can certainly use it. It's
at a convenient location, on Sherbrooke one street west of St.
Laurent.

Excellent! I will email you and Dominique privately to work out the
details about timing, ...etc. (to reduce irrelevant traffic for the list
members). If anyone is interested in helping out, please email privately.

The events page lists when various events are happening. We can
reserve a spot there or just meet at a time when there are no other
events.
