to Erlang Montreal
Hi all,
I'm the new kid on the block. I work (remotely) in a small web company
based in Quebec City. My daily tools include Python, Django and Plone,
but I'm interested in many things.
I'm MUCH interested in Erlang so I'm happy to find that there is a
community and conferences. Some of you use Erlang professionaly? For
my part, I'm an Erlang newcomer. I don't have any professional reason
to use it, but I guess knowing it better could open new doors.
Actually I just think it looks powerful, and its math-like syntax
looks appealing to me.
My goals are:
- Learning Erlang
- Participate to your upcoming events
- Organise similar meetings in Quebec City to encourage other
newcomers like me to discover Erlang
Cheers,
Sylvain Bouchard
