After talking to a few people - including Michael Connors from here - we've decided to give a shot at setting up a meetup group on meetup.com. 

Currently we're gaging interest and looking into organising a workshop in the near future. If you have any suggestions about topic, sponsors and venue, you're more than welcome to post either here, or on the meetup page.
