Picking up from Season 3's cliffhanger finale, Ross is revealed to have entered Rachel's room, and ultimately choosing Rachel over Bonnie. As he enters the room, he sees both women. Bonnie has shaved her head, and it has consequently gotten sun burnt, Rachel is helping her apply sunblock onto it. Bonnie leaves the room when Ross is seen, and after sharing a kiss with Rachel, Ross goes to break up with Bonnie. When he returns to Rachel's room and informs her that he has ended his relationship with Bonnie and she has left, he is bemused to then learn that while he was doing this Rachel had written him a letter that is eighteen pages long, front and back. Understandably tired after breaking up with Bonnie, Ross falls asleep at the kitchen table reading the letter, and when he wakes up the next morning, he lies and claims that he has read the letter thoroughly and carefully when he has not finished it. Believing him, Rachel asks him "Does it?" Unsure of what she wants him to say, Ross takes a guess and says "It does." It immediately becomes clear that this is exactly what Rachel was hoping he would say - she is overjoyed and they get back together. When he later gets a chance to actually read the letter however, he discovers that Rachel wants him to take full responsibility for all that went wrong in their relationship, and is outraged.

At the beach, Monica and Chandler are still debating why he should be her boyfriend, when she gets stung by a jellyfish. Joey remembers a documentary from the Discovery channel that suggested urinating on a jellyfish sting to make the pain go away. He "steps up" to help her, but gets stage fright and cannot go through with it, so Chandler is forced to do it instead. The three are traumatized by this event and though initially unwilling to admit to the their curious friends what the matter with them is, eventually give into the group's pressure when they ask what happened and confess.

Phoebe is shocked to learn the truth about Phoebe Abbott being her birth mother, and is very angry at her for never trying to track her down. She leaves her house saying that she never wants to see her again, but Phoebe Senior finds her at the Central Perk. Although her anger is still bubbling for her birth mother, Phoebe realizes that Phoebe Senior is her family and tries to get a rapport going on, albeit with some difficulty.

When the friends return to the city, Chandler, Monica and Joey confess what really happened at the beach. Ross and Rachel enjoy their reunion after four months apart and have sex, but Ross is privately still angry about the fact that Rachel expects him to take full responsibility for all that went wrong in their relationship, and is refusing to take any responsibility herself despite the fact that she was the one who suggested that they "take a break" from their relationship (which is what caused Ross to have sex with Chloe, interpreting this suggestion as a break-up.) Afterwards, Rachel infuriates Ross by telling him how happy she is with how much he has "grown". The camera switches to Monica, Joey and Chandler hearing Ross yell, "WE WERE ON A BREAK!" and storming out of Rachel's bedroom, correcting the grammar in her letter as he leaves. Rachel responds with, "Just so you know, it's NOT that common, it DOESN'T happen to every guy and it IS a big deal!", implying that Ross had suffered with erectile difficulty and she had lied to reassure him. This results in Chandler emerging from behind the front door and exclaiming, "I knew it!" (Chandler would have a similar erectile dysfunction on his engagement night.)

The credits scene shows Monica and Chandler playing gin rummy. Chandler still refers to him and Monica as a potential couple, and Monica admits how he's sweet and smart and she loves him as a friend, but he will always be the man who urinated on her.

But it turns out that there is something bigger to worry about as Celestia and Luna end up missing, and both the sun and moon are in the sky. It also appears that giant vines from the Everfree Forest are invading Equestria, causing strange weather patterns and even being able to manipulate unicorn magic. Twilight reunites with her friends, and once again don the elements of harmony in order to try and solve the mystery.

Of course, their prime suspect in causing chaos and disorder in Equestria is Discord, who claims innocence for the entire detail, and claims to have no idea about what created the plants growing over Equestria. He tells them to go ask Zecora, who has been forced to flee the forest due to the overgrow. She just happens to have a convenient potion that can help Twilight get an answer as to what is really causing the problem.

Despite that trip not fully answering the questions needed, she drinks the potion again, which now takes her to the stone banishment of Discord by Luna, Celestia, and the elements. The flashbacks go further still as Twilight sees Luna and Celestia in front of the tree of harmony, a glowing tree that was the holder of the elements. The princesses took the elements to ensure Discord would be defeated, but never gave the elements back, believing that the tree will survive without it.

This was a major history building episode as we finally get to see where the elements of harmony came from, the original defeat of Discord, and finally the night that Luna would be banished to the moon. This history building has been a long time in the making for the series, and to see it finally animated was a treat.

The PAW Patrol and Godzilla introduce the characters from Blaze and the Monster Machines to the tribes at Adventure Bay. They begin introduced themselves and even make friends. They also transform into Wild Wheels and even take them to Axle City and Animal Island too, the PAW Patrol and Godzilla also joins too. The Tribes also meet Roarian too (from The Flying Lion). They also show the tribes the intro too.

Oliver and Felicity are living happily in the suburbs in a perfect life. They have friends in the new neighbourhood, Oliver goes jogging, in a green hoodie (without anyone shooting at him) and they have brunch!

The rest of Team Arrow are still at it in Star City (as is apparently now known), we see them trying to stop a truck carrying weapons defended by well-armed men.Thea is kicking ass and loving it and wants to be called the Red Arrow!

Time for a blink and you miss it Easter Egg (which I did) At the beginning of a bar scene flashback where Oliver and Amanda Waller are talking the camera pans across to them, passing by someone wearing a pilots jacket with the name Jordan stitched on it. This has to be the missing Ferris Air pilot mentioned in the last season of The Flash, HAL JORDAN!!!!! otherwise known as one time Green Lantern! This is the second reference in this episode alone, they have to be bringing him into the show at some point. Or the showrunners are just evil, teasing us with something that would be incredible!

We then see Damian in action for the first time as the team watch from the rafters, putting fear into his soldiers, he seems to draw the life force directly from one of them simply by putting his hand on his chest.

Another flashback and it looks like Waller has yet another agenda and has forced Oliver into a mission he knows nothing about. He is kicked out of a moving plane and parachutes on the island where everything began, Lian Yu.

Oliver is outmatched in combat and starts having his life-force drained, he is only rescued when Diggle shoots Damian in the back, after which he has disappeared. The team have to blow the train up before it reaches the city.

We see a brief moment where Damian appears to be praying or chanting to an artifact and symbols appear on his wrists after he cuts himself. Does this indicate that his powers come at a physical cost? There is definitely some magical aspect being introduced in this season.

But the most important part of this scene is that Lance has agreed to work for Damian! He is clearly not happy about it and still has to be threatened to do as he is told, but this is something I never thought we would see Lance do! He has betrayed his city and his friends!

The last scene of the episode is a powerful one. It is 6 months later, Oliver and Barry Allen are in a graveyard. There has just been a funeral for someone. There is a mention that Barry has been held up by Zoom (nice reference) but the most important question is WHO HAS DIED?!

Oliver is very upset about it so your mind immediately jumps to Felicity, but this could be too obvious. In actual fact it could be any member of team arrow. Arrow loves them all in different ways but we have no idea who it is in that grave!!

Buster shares his story which has South Park style animation. I remember watching this when I was younger and getting a little worried because I had seen South Park and knew they said bad words in it and I was afraid that because of this segment, I would not be allowed to watch Arthur anymore.

Binky thinks he might have accidentally copied the citation from the picture but Buster suggests Arthur fight the photographers anyway because he was annoyed at how they kept getting up in his grill and they tried to take pictures of his sweet sweet glorious pecs.

It turns out they all lost. Bored again, the kids wonder what to do. Arthur suggests they write stories based off what really happened to them, like the time they were afraid of Mr. Ratburn or he and Buster made music videos in his basement or Arthur hit his sister.

At the end of the episode, it turns out the story ideas Arthur and his friends had were contest entries from kids. I was not aware of this contest when I was younger. I bet I could have come up with an awesome story.
