Itshould have at least the most basic li-ion charging circuit, that includes overcharge protection. If mine starts acting up I plan to install in-line volt/current monitoring to see what it actually does.

A quick search for INR18650 MH1-4S1P-SC shows AliExpress has a replacement battery. It fits the Xiaomi vac which is the company that makes the Wyze robot vac.

Unfortunately they seem to be the only place to buy one.

Replacing the battery is easy. Remove the roller brush cover and you will see 4 small Philips head screws holding a cover down. Remove these screws, lift the cover off, pull the battery out, and disconnect the plug from the vacuum. Installation is the reverse of removal.

I have 2 units. Both stops after only 20 minutes vacuuming and disconnects from wifi. Units are under 2 years old.

Occasionally looses the map. Rapid battery discharge.Stops in the middle of vacuuming.

Replacing the battery fixes the problem. BYD batteries of poor quality. Will avoid Roidmi products in the near future when upgrading.

Problems occur after the 1yr warranty expires!

Company not taking ownership.

After 2 years and 1 month, the charging station simply stopped working. During the 2 years, there were problems with maps saving, changing the WiFi provider, also the parts of the main set that fit into the socket and the rubber on the cover wore out a lot. After 1 year started to losing charging station.

The Vacuumcleaner isn't that Bad. But there are Always Problems with loss of the map or it has to find the Station 10 Times in the row... Sometimes it jszt Sto before the Station and wont load... Wouldnt buy again

This robot can not connect via Mi Home application. I brought it to the service center and they also were not able to fix it. But refused to replase the robot with a propper device, because "Mi Home" it is "an option". Why? It was the main reason of buying this robot, because via Mi Home I can connect it to my smart home via Alice. Roidmi application does not support Alice. How can I return this robot?

The ro bot if fine build quality, but the updates and the software is TERRIBLE! robot is always can't find a charge station, after 4long cleaning (but it sees it on the map), always scratching right side the robot.. even if he knows theres is an obstacle. very disappointed.
