Is Erjang's epmd functional?

Hi all,

the Projects wiki page (https://github.com/trifork/erjang/wiki/Erjang-
Projects) asks for an Java/Erlang implementation of epmd. There is a
Java implementation of epmd available in in src/main/java/erjang/epmd.
Is it fully functional and just missing a start script or work in
progress?

It is not fully functional. As I recall, it works for an Erjang node, but if you try launch it, and then start a proper Erlang node, then something goes wrong. I don't remember exactly what...

I ran into the same problem last week preparing my jaxcon talk and wanting to show on one machine both kinds of nodes cooperating. Wanted to have a deeper look and maybe a solution idea in May...
