As to movie Ittefaq, I would perhaps have liked the film had the Nanda so adorable to me and with finest of images was not given the role of a woman who finally turned out to have committed the ghasty crime.

indeed a shame. shyama ji real name is khurshid akhtar . there was another khurshid so she was advised to change her name and was given the name shayama. she lives in bombay and was interviewed by vividh bharti team.

the way she runs in ek pyaar ka nagma hain. i find it very difficult and its equal to dancing only. i think shashi ji and her favourite movie of them together was chaar diwari. both remembered this movie with great fondness. and director krishen chopra too.

first introduction to nanda ji was of rich brat of jab jab phool khiley and then itefaq. negative impression but mother used to spoke about her that she helped so many new heores used to make me wonder about her. after watching her simple roles i felt what a versatile actress.

I remember Vividh bharti seva analysis of 36 ghantey in which entire responsibility of failure was put on audience. Anchor said, dosto 36 ghantey apney waqt sey aagey ki film thi. parivar k logo ko ghar main bhnadhak bnaa liya jana. apney hi ghar mein kaid ho jana. bhaari duniya sey bartaav karney mein dikkat hona.. bahaari logo ka unki mazburi samajh nahi pana. shayad yeh vishay vastu dekhney k liye humari audience tyaair nahi thi.

In the film Ranjit and sunil dutt characters are confused. its a major drawback plus film length. but film can be watched for very fresh Parveen babi and vijay arora. film has all regular chopra camp actors. parveen babi and sunil dutt first few scenes are most memorable scenes. Raj kumar and Mala sinha look comfortable. deven verma plays cold drink supplier. Ramesh deo is a determined inspector. iftekhar plays vijay arora dad who is amused that why girl side is talking to them with such disinterest.
