AsI'm sure you know, finding inspiration can be tricky sometimes, even if you, theoretically, have a ton! I was having this issue and it seemed like I just could not choose when it came to my massive list of moodboards when I felt like designing, so I did what I always do and just removed the aspect of choice entirely. Who needs free will anyway?

Unlike other generators, this one chooses from premade moodboards created by human beings instead of randomly selecting each image. Results were taken from impressive collections on Pinterest and Sta.sh, and at its launch contains around 800 different moodboards! That's like, one adopt every day for two and a half years! I'm probably gonna forget to update this description as well so if you're seeing this in the future then expect even more aestheticy goodness.

Not impressed? Think this pales in comparison to your wicked collection? Or maybe you've got some favorites you wanna share? Well, YOU CAN HELP! Submissions are always open via a Google form linked below the generator. Send links to your collections or just straight-up do my job for me, everything is welcome and you can send as many submissions as you'd like!

(Needless to say none of these images belong to or were uploaded by me; this generator merely compiles existing images from around the internet. I don't think I'm breaking any site rules, but if I am definitely let me know and I'll take it down straight away! Love you forever Toyhouse)

Over the past several weeks, the Storyboard Newsletter has embarked on a three-part series describing how AI is upending video production with low-cost tools that automate, inspire, and, create. (Non-subscribers to our bi-weekly email newsletter can knock off that negative prefix by subscribing here.)

And while a human singing the praises of a robot is a tale as old as time, what better way for a robot to demonstrate its self-awareness and love of helping video professionals than with an AI-written blog post?

One way that AI is helping with this is by using image generators to create storyboards. These systems use natural language processing (NLP) to analyze a script and generate corresponding images based on the text prompts. This can help directors and animators quickly and easily visualize the different shots and scenes without having to spend time and money on hiring an artist to create a traditional storyboard.

Additionally, AI image generators can also help spark the imagination of directors and animators. By providing a starting point for visualizing the story, these systems can help inspire new ideas and creative approaches to the script. For example, an AI image generator might generate a scene of a character walking through a forest, which could then inspire the director to add in additional elements, such as animals or magical creatures, to enhance the story.

Overall, AI is proving to be a valuable tool for video productions, especially those with small budgets, by helping to streamline the storyboarding process and provide inspiration for directors and animators.

Mood boards are a popular tool used in the video production process to visually represent the desired look and feel of a project. They often consist of a collection of images, colors, and textures that reflect the desired aesthetic and tone of the video.

Traditionally, creating a mood board involves manually collecting and arranging images from various sources. However, with the advent of AI image generators, the process can be streamlined and made more efficient.

AI image generators use deep learning algorithms to generate high-quality images based on a given set of inputs. In the context of video production, these inputs could be the desired aesthetic or mood of the project. The AI image generator then produces a collection of images that align with the specified inputs, allowing the production team to quickly and easily create a mood board.

In addition to saving time and effort, using an AI image generator for mood boards also has the benefit of providing a more diverse and expansive range of images to choose from. This can help the production team to think outside the box and come up with fresh and unique ideas for their project.

AI image generators, such as the Stable Diffusion platform, are revolutionizing the way video productions create custom special effects. These tools use advanced machine learning algorithms to generate high-quality, customizable images and video content, which can be easily integrated into a video project.

One of the biggest benefits of using AI image generators for special effects is their cost-effectiveness. Traditional special effects methods often require a team of skilled artists and designers to create each individual effect, which can be time-consuming and expensive. In contrast, AI image generators can quickly and easily produce a wide range of effects, allowing video productions to save time and money while still achieving high-quality results.

An example of an AI image generator that can be used for video production is Stable Diffusion. This platform uses generative adversarial networks (GANs) to produce completely unique visual styles, including realistic images and video footage. The generated content can be easily integrated into a video project using popular tools like Adobe After Effects.

In addition to cost savings, AI image generators like Stable Diffusion also offer a level of customization and control that is not possible with traditional special effects methods. With these tools, producers can adjust the parameters of the generated content to achieve the exact look and feel they want for their project. This allows for a level of creativity and flexibility that is not possible with pre-made special effects.

AI image generators like Stable Diffusion are a powerful and cost-effective solution for video productions looking to create custom special effects. These tools offer a level of flexibility and control that is not possible with traditional methods, and can help producers save time and money while still achieving high-quality results.

With the help of AI, video productions can now create stunning storyboards, mood boards, and special effects that will leave their viewers in awe. But the best part? This entire blog post was written by ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art language model that knows everything there is to know about AI and video production.

Moodboard software allows you to create visual representations of a creative concept or design project. Moodboards are great for communicating a specific design plan or for guiding an upcoming project.
