I recently learned something interesting about this game that I thought was cool. I'm sure that anyone who has played this game knows that the pause menus look a little... messy... Not in a way that they are ugly or anything, but they are a bit disorganized.

The reasoning behind this is pretty simple actually. The pause menus in the final version are the same ones that were used for testing the game. This is why they have a messy look to them. We can only assume that the devs might have forgotten about this, or the more likely scenario, ran out of development time. Either way, Symphony of the Night is an amazing game that is still one of the best metroidvanias out there. If you haven't played this game, give it a try.

That's pretty cool

I never knew it was the same pause menu the developers used for testing game, but thanks for letting me know.

If you have a Wii U, Nintendo Switch, or a Xbox one, you can buy the Castlevania Advance collection to save yourself a phooey load of money. Or you can buy all three of them for 24 bucks on the Wii U. If you don't have a switch or a Xbox One, then good luck finding them for cheap. (I said three because the first GBA Castlevania gameis circle of the moon).

Uh, okay.

Paper Mario Master

Where do I pick those up without spending a lot of cash? Cause I don't have any Sony consoles

After you play this masterpiece, try Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance or Castlevania Aria of Sorrow.

It sounds like Track 20, Lost Painting, is actual a full orchestral version, not the MIDI version found in the game. I'm concerned it may belong on some other remastered album. Can anyone confirm this?

Castlevania Symphony Of The Night Has One Of The Greatest Soundtracks I've ever Heard! The Game Itself Is The Best Castlevania Game Ever! It Also Marked The Metroid Vania Era Of Castlevania Games. Soundtrack:9.9/10. Game9.7/10.

Die monster. You don't belong in this world!
It was not by my hand that I am once again given flesh. I was called here by humans who wish to pay me tribute.
Tribu te!?! You steal men's souls and make them your slaves!
Perhap s the same could be said of all religions...
Y our words are as empty as your soul! Mankind ill needs a savior such as you!
What is a man? (flings his wine glass aside) A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk... Have at you!

Symphony of the Night really lives up to it's name when it comes to it's bone chilling soundtracks as it escorts you around the living Castle of no less than Lord Dracula himself through the eyes of his son Adrian Vlad Tepes aka Alucard. The best for me are the Track Prayer and Dracula's Castle, but really every sound is edible for the ear and the soul lol;

I love this game and of course I love this music..!! And for those of you who can't play these tunes on Media Player, I can tell you my trick.. :) I use a converter program (such as Video Convert Master, or else), and I convert the file into a MP3 format again and it works.. I don't know if there's another way, but that's what I'm doing and it works for me, I think you should try it too.. Good luck :)

Well everyone, Of course this is going to be one of the best Castlevania symphony's out there next to Judgment, They put a lot of work into this considering it was the first PlayStation made Castlevania, They put as much detail in it as they could, And they actually out did themselves with Graphics, Game play, Story line, And not to mention of course the music lol.

Castlevania Symphony of the night is one of the best games in PS1. it is the best Castlevania that i've ever played. they have done a great job in maintaining the traditional 2D graphics just like the old castlevania games and the gameplay is awesome and the music as well... even though there are now new castlevania games that have better graphics on PS2 console, I still prefer the symphony of the night. its classic...
