Barefoot running reminder

Just a quick reminder - anyone that's interested is welcome to join me
tonight for some barefoot running experience and/or discussion. I'll
be on Presque Isle at the Stull Center parking lot near Beach 1 about
5:30 tonight. Just look for the guy with no shoes :-)

Perfect barefoot weather continues! Yay!

Tom,    Any interest at your barefoot running session last night?     I'm enjoying the last few days of my winter vacation in Panama City FL.    I've been running on the sandy beaches down here about 3 days a week wearing Vibram Five Fingers shoes.  Too many beer cans left on the beach by the spring breakers to feel comfortable running barefoot.  I did that last year.    Running is slow because of all the spring break coeds on the beach and I have to check out their barest of bikinis as I go slooowly running by them.  We set a Gennis record for the largest bikini parade with 450 gals certified as finishing earlier this month.     Be back in Erie soon    Dale     --- On Mon, 3/19/12, bfRunner <tom.m...@basf.com> wrote:

I feel your pain, Dale - having to dodge all those bikinis on the
beach sounds like quite a hardship. As a friend and fellow runner,
though, I would gladly help to share your suffering if I could.

No takers on my evening run last night. I would really like to
encourage more barefoot runners around Erie, but it's a tough sell. I
did see a few pairs of Five-Fingers at the St. Pat's run on Saturday,
so maybe there's hope yet.

I'll try a few more barefoot get-togethers as the weather gets even
warmer; maybe you can join in when you get back (Five-Fingers welcome,
too).

I can't promise record-setting bikini numbers, but I'll see what I can
do.
