Back in 2020, PCA embarked on a bold initiative led by the Susan Crown Exchange alongside other organizations to collectively train 1 million coaches in positive youth development. In the Fall of 2025, we hit that goal, training 1,173,354 coaches.
Winning Beyond the Game, the Million Coaches Challenge Implementation Study is an independent, multiyear study conducted by the American Institutes for Research that captures findings from four years of implementation across 18 national partners, showing that training strengthens coaches’ confidence, improves athlete experiences, and helps keep kids in sport.
