Ergomo USA out of business?

Folks-

Anyone know whether ergomo USA has gone out of business? I placed an order 2 weeks ago through their web store and paid for priority shipping to WA. Not only have I not received the item, there's been no response to email enquiry. No sense waiting until the credit card statement arrives to file the dispute if they're no longer around...

 ---I had a similar experience.  9 months ago they fixed a few of my computer head units and then, this past August, I tried a number of times to contact them via leaving voicemail messages and never heard back, which is disappointing because some of the head units needed fixing again.  I've been loyal to ergomo for quite a while, partly because I own four of them, and when they work, they are really quite good.

Hi John,
I'm really sorry to read about your Ergomo order troubles.  As a *former* authorized dealer/coach, I've experienced the same radio silence as you (see my post from a few weeks ago).  It looks like Jonathan launched a new business venture in August with his "Denver Center for Sports Performance".  To drop the Ergomo community cold like this is terrible.  I think he dumped whatever inventory he could under the guise of a product re-launch and then took off for Fiji.  Maybe he'll be back or there are some crazy circumstances that explain all of this, but I'll never deal with him again.  For me, the entire partnership was a disaster.  I would file your credit card dispute right away.

I thought I'd read somewhere that they'd gone out of business but someone was operating somewhere else - sorry it's all a little vague but that's the best i can do.
I too have a number of units, three, and I agree when they're working they're great, better by far than the SRM I have - that too has died but I wouldn't spend anything getting that working again

I am not sure what has happened to ErgomoUSA, but we have been around since the Ergomo Pro launched in 2003, and still have a strong following for parts and service. Does anyone have any more information about ErgomoUSA?
 
I sent my head unit to them (from UK) for battery replacement 27 Sep 2012.
Tommy Bruen acknowledged receipt by email on 17 Oct 2012, saying it was being worked on.
Like others, I have heard nothing since then, despite e-mailing several times.

Really sorry to hear this, its such a shame because I still think the Ergomo is one of the better and versatile powermeters, ok, I'd love an SRM but unless my lottery ticket comes up I can't see me getting one anytime soon!
 
If you do get your head unit back I'd be very happy to help you change the batteries, I've done about 16 now for myself, friends etc, its actually quite easy and with newer batteries they work better than they every have.
Let me know if you hear anything.

If you have lost any equipment that was being serviced by ErgomoUSA, just let me know and I will work something out for you. Nigel, I'll know $100 off a replacement head unit for you. Just send me an order receipt or any other correspondence from ErgomoUSA fro you head unit. Hope this helps.

HI Jerry,

I read you have hands on experience replacing the batteries? I have a dead unit I'd love to revive (also got 2 bikes equipped), would you mind elaborating how you change it and what kind of battery to procure? Also I guess there's some settings to re-enter once the juice runs again??
