Hi all,

I'm new here and looking to get a PM. Was getting an SRM but that fell
through. Now started looking at Ergomo's and PT's

I know from searching the net that Ergomo have had a few problems in
the past that eventually lead to the companies collapse. However as
you all probably know they now seem to have risen from the ashes and
appear to be trading again. As seen here:
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=de&tl=en&u=http://www.ergomo-systems.de/&rurl=translate.google.com&twu=1&usg=ALkJrhiFVwXEcRNbomMteMTCpgNzeam8XQ

I just wondered if anyone has tried the new 2010 BB's with the updated
sensors and how they differ from the original problematic old BB's.
Also has the 2010 headuint changed and if so how (they look the same
as the old one)?

Really like the features of the original Ergomo and it would be nice
to here they'd sorted all the bugs.

Certainly consider buying one if the early reports are good...

Cheers, Andy.

I purchased a new BB in march and since now (2000 km) I didn't have
any issue.
Compared to my other two BBs (ISIS and Octalink) is more stable in
offset values and not affected by high temperatures.
Tested on an indoor trainer with a ramp test, reported values similar
to the other 2 BBs
Hope it helps.
Paolo

Thanks for your input Paolo. Was starting to think no one had bought
the new system with updated sensor....

It's good to know it's going strong after 2k. I'm seriously
considering buying the older version. There's a few NOS kits on eBay.
Think it could be worth the risk. If it goes wrong at least there now
the option of getting it repaired and upgraded.

Once again many thanks..

First of all I'll try to sell the system, then I'll be happy to offer you my compact.
If interested, I could send you some pictures and I could check for shipping charges (I live in Italy).
Cheers
Paolo

Hi Paolo,

what sort of price was you looking for?? Wouldn't need the Ergomo
cranks but would be could be tempted by the FSA's.
If you've got any pictures please send them to me at
midget...@googlemail.com.

Many thanks, Andy.
