auctex and toolbar buttons

HI, I'm trying ergoemacs, and every time I open a tex file with ergoemacs mode enabled, the number of copies of the "preview on/off at point" button in the toolbar increases -- I think it doubles each time. I use auctex. I don't see this behavior without ergoemacs mode, so my first guess is that the problem is with that. Any idea what might be going on?
