Constructions of C^1 expanding maps of the circle without a
Lebesgue absolutely continuous invariant measure.
Abstract: We will explain the construction of Bruin and
Hawkins of C^1 expanding maps
of the circle with the property that it has no sigma-finite
invariant measure
equivalent to Lebesgue measure.
