Hello Emerging Health Services Researchers!

Here is a quick update to pass on some important information about ERGO (the Emerging Researcher's Group of the Health Services Association of Australia & New Zealand) and the upcoming HSRAANZ conference in Adelaide in December. We are also seeking your feedback on ongoing activities for Emerging Health Services Researchers.

1. Please take our quick 10 Question Survey! : Tell us what you want and need for this year’s conference and beyond!

We are continuing to make plans for the 2011 HSRAANZ conference in Adelaide this coming December.  We've put together a survey (only 10 questions!) to find out more about you and what your key needs are as masters students, PhD students and recent graduates working and studying in the field of health services research.  If you haven’t had a chance to take the survey yet, please do so that we can keep in touch and so that we can put together a conference programme that will meet your needs!

2. Time to submit your abstract for this year’s conference in Adelaide!

The theme for the conference is “Opportunities for health services research: to inform, improve, and inspire”.  You are invited to submit a 250 word abstract reflecting one of the following themes:

• Data for health services research,  
• Evaluating health services,
• Indigenous health,
• Informing policy and practice, and
• Innovative approaches to health services research

3. Are you a member of the Association? Join today for as little as $66! (students)
