Nicholas Mays, Professor of Health Policy and Head of the Health Services Research Unit, Department of Public Health and Policy, at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.  Since 2003, Nicholas has spent approximately three months each year as a Policy Advisor to both the New Zealand Ministry of Health and the State Sector Performance Branch of the NZ Treasury.
