UTS Chancellor's Postdoctoral Research Fellowships 2012
Centrally based in the cosmopolitan city of Sydney, UTS offers an
exciting and progressive work environment with opportunities for
growth as a researcher, leader and educator.
We seek expressions of interest from early career researchers to join
UTS as one of our Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellows. Work
alongside established researchers to develop and strengthen your
research career and generate research outcomes beneficial to society.
In 2012, the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme will award
Fellowships with the aim of building research capacity in areas of
strategic importance to UTS, and to support the University’s intent to
be a research leader in specific areas across each of the following
six key research themes:
> Health Futures
> Sustainability and the Built Environment
> Creative and Civil Societies
> Business Innovation
> Communication and Intelligent Systems
> Future Services and Industries
Fellowships are offered for either three years for a research only
appointment; or four years for a combination research and teaching
appointment. Fellows who take up the three year research only
appointment option may be eligible to transfer to a combination
research and teaching appointment during the Fellowship.
With a commitment to developing our staff and research reputation, we
offer the following benefits and opportunities as part of the

• Opportunity to build international research capability and

• Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning
• Use of online resources to develop and maintain research profile
